Morticia is determined he accept this year's invitation to avoid the reclusive direction in which he's headed. To that end, a dance teacher is hired, but when that doesn't work (due to frequent fainting spells), the whole family rallies to Lurch's cause, to the endangerment of innocent furniture and healthy vertebrae everywhere.

Nightmares is a 1983 horror anthology film, made up of four stories. In the first story, a woman encounters some problems after she leaves her house late at night to drive to the store with a killer is loose. In the second story, an arcade whiz kid's obsession with a game leads to deadly consequences. In the third story, a small town priest loses his faith and decides to leave town, but in the desert is stalked by a mysterious black pick-up truck. In the final story, a family's problem with a rat is larger than they think.
